Dave and I’ve been travelling to the desert for decades. We’ve had some good hosts but Vic and Salpi take it to a whole new level. I can’t see booking with anybody else. They truly have spoiled us. The reviews you read are 110% accurate. At the risk of repeating what others have had to say, I’ll go to a personal note. We were travelling with my son and his family. As a special request I asked Vic if he could make arrangements to have a crib and highchair available to us.Vic had it all set up and ready to go when we arrived. Much appreciated! Vic touched base on a number of occasions to see if everything was going well or if anything was needed. This is a couple that take pride in what they do in the hospitality industry. We loved the pool table and had a great time playing pool everyday we were there. Salpi is the Most Thoughtful person! The hosts were super friendly and helpful. Lots of amenities! The house had everything we could have possibly needed and then some, including a slew of food, snacks, wine, etc. My kids especially appreciated the pool/hot tub w/ basketball hoop and other pool toys, pool table, foosball, giant jenga set, games, etc, especially during the storm. It was the perfect place to gather with our friends and family. The location was great, with a grocery store and gas station nearby, and just a short drive to the El Paseo shopping center. The house had everything we needed, and it was a pleasant surprise to find complimentary snacks, drinks, and an open wine cellar upon our arrival. The pool was fantastic, and even though we didn't use the pool heater, it was a nice option to have. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant, and there were plenty of entertainment options for both kids and adults.
